We have the sweetest soul on the podcast today. Britten Lightsey is just the epitome of kindness and gentleness, but her story didn’t always feel that way. Losing her dad at a young age and then her mom at age 13, Britten found herself in deep grief for her parents and in search for a place of belonging. Fighting identity crisis and learning to cope despite grief, loss, and anger, Britten shares her story with us today of finding that ultimate belonging in Jesus Christ. Britten is a wife to her high school sweetheart and a mom to two boys, so her story also highlights walking through postpartum seasons and even postpartum depression. In it all, Britten just brings a light and a hope in her story as she points everything to the goodness of the Lord.
