In this video, we explore Arp 272, a pair of interactive galaxies, through the lens of the Hubble Space Telescope. Yes, you'll also find a planet lying in the middle of it all.

Wonder how these galaxies are looking right now in our time. I wish we could send a camera towards them at light speed and essentially watch a time lapse of these galaxies colliding.

So basically if the signal from the camera goes at the speed of light then it literally wouldn't matter how fast it's going it still needs to get to you from the camera however if you traveled with it it would be twice as close to how it looks at the time

This planet is completely imaginary. We have not detected a planet even close to a million light years away, let alone 450 million LYs like these galaxies are. As of 2022 the furthest exoplanet detected was at 27,000 LYs away, or about 0.006% the way to these galaxies. There likely are planets there, but we can't detect them that far. They are completely speculating about the planet

Bro a planet inbetween 3 galaxies is fucking probably thousands of not millions of lifghtyears from any star, I'm pretty sure stellar radiation wouldn't be too big a deal in that case.

With a big bang, how is it possible for galaxies to collide? Explosions are outward force of pressure. Physists got it wrong. Multiple galaxies everywhere as far as telescopes can see and beyond. Galaxies shouldn't collide if there was a big bang. Everything would be moving away. The further outward force is faster than the debris left behind. But everything would be outgoing into open space. We don't observe that.

Its true that the expansion of the universe is even faster than the speed of light since we can't see the edge and all galaxies are moving away at high speed from the core of the big bang but galaxies colliding is not random, its caused by the immense gravity pull from each galaxy that are already near each other.

The Big Bang was due to the expansion of space time not an explosion in space
@cyberwolf6667

Your forgetting not all galaxies were formed from the Big Bang, the gases and dust that make the galaxies was, these new galaxies created will have there own gravity which will influence other galaxies, causing them to draw nearer even if they are still traveling away from the center of the Big Bang
