A Portrait of my Belgian Shepherd Dog on his 5th Birthday
Rancho turned 5 years old! We couldn't be more grateful for having this furry little man in our lives. In human years, he's now around 40 years old, but he definitely doesn't act like a middle-aged man. Still full of energy and acting like a puppy most of the time. That's what you can expect if you get a Belgian Shepherd. We love him to the Moon and back.

Rancho the Dog is a 4 year old male Belgian Tervuren Shepherd. There are 4 varieties of the Belgian Shepherd Dog - the Malinois (short coated), the Groenendael (black long-coated), the Lakenois (wire-haired) and the Tervuren (basically a long-coated Malinois, as far as color is concerned)

He is such a beautiful dog. This breed is called Tervuren Shepherd, they look like a mix between the Groenendeal and the Malinois, which are both also Belgian shepherds. I worked out with the Groenendeal, they are very simular to the Tervuren, and I am working now with a Malinois, it's my best friends dog, he's like the crazy brother on redbull, hahaha, but they are all amazing dogs.

Rancho's so beautiful! I noticed in this video that he sometimes hops on his front left paw. It's almost like he's skipping (2:12 and 2:31). I've never seen that before, he seems so joyful :)
