1. I really loved seeing Navi take an active part in this mini-sode. 2. Link’s expressions going from hopeful that a bond was starting to form with this helpful stranger to almost looking betrayed when the wall of fire cropped up - like if he was being blocked out and was hurt by it - really hit me. It’s all the more gripping when you consider how he mourned losing Saria in the previous episode and thought he was making a new friend here. Are you building up to him not being sure if he should trust Sheik for a few temple encounters?

It was a great start to have Sheik save Link from falling into the lava. It was also a nice gesture for Navi to try to save Link. I loved it when Navi asked the big questions to Sheik by trying to figure out her motives and asking for an alliance. I loved the Impa cameo, you can see that Sheik's speech about friendship wasn't just an allusion to Link and Darunia being sworn brothers. It was an allusion to her bond with Impa. Link looks adorable when he smiles at Sheik with closed eyes. And I like how Sheik shows some connection with magic by creating a fire wall to prevent Link from getting close to her.

Jajajaja. It's weird because Kingdom Hearts and The Legend of Zelda are my favorite video game series. Like Link and Sora they are my favorite video game heroes. Regarding this, I have always considered that Kingdom Hearts gives really important and impactful life lessons and in a certain sense The Legend of Zelda too, I say it may not seem like it more in Kingdom Hearts because at first I thought they would use the resource of the power of friendship to defeat the bad guy but I was wrong because this saga explores almost all aspects of friendship and even a fractured friendship or the darkness that is born in loneliness. And in The Legend of Zelda it may not seem like it but Link is never alone in the final battles there is always someone helping or supporting him from a distance (Zelda, Navi, Talla, Midna, Fi, The Champions) it has been made clear that Link He fights to save Hyrule but it's more than just a vast piece of land, he fights for the ties he has with those people who make up the kingdom.

I love this so much. It would take me forever to describe, the comment would be long... I DON'T CARE I WANNA SHARE THIS! In the original game it was kinda hard to believe that Sheik is actually Zelda because she acted so differently. Your animation fixes this tremendously! But it's still not on the nose. It's very subtle and shows how Zelda actually grew up in this world that is slowly wasting away because of Ganondorf and his greed. Link however with his lovable goofy smile shows how he never lived there, he didn't see anything happen, because he was forced to grow up in order to fulfill his role as a hero. He is still a child at heart. The two of them share a very special bond that defies time itself, but Sheik knows what lies ahead and if she allows herself to travel with Link and Navi, she risks being discovered too early and that would endanger Link even more. So she decides to assist him in a safe way, by popping up every now and then and teach him the songs he needs to proceed. The flashback was so well timed, it was foreboding and mysterious, didn't reveal too much and hinted that Sheik knows more than she admits yet. I just love how the animations you do don't replace the games, they rather enhance the experience and this is how it should be in my opinion. In order to know or at least better understand what hardships Link goes through on his journey, you have to know the basic plot of Ocarina of time. Everything else gets filled in with your beautiful animations and it's always a delight watching them. I don't know if you read this (you probably didn't I wouldn't do it, way too long lol) but I just want to let you know I love your work. Keep going :)
