I cried when Adine did. Her heart is just golden, and it just makes me want to be better eventhough, I know I will never be close enough to the person and woman that she is. She is inspiring and humbling, that is why I am certain that every creature she cared, cares, and will care for will only receive genuine and unconditional love. Oh, I remember very well when Adine released Gertjie into the wild back in 2019. As she was weeping hard Gertjie came close for the last time to say good bye; I couldn't hold back tears either. So happy to see him back, omg. He obviously remembers Adine. This is so telling.

To see an animal you raised and then released back into the wild only to see them years later is a testament that what you did for these orphaned Rino's 🦏 is working. An animal never forgets it's human family. I have seen this over and over with all kinds of animals. Tears are running down my face as I listen to you speaking softly to Gertjie 🦏 and crying happy tears. To see him in the wild is a testament that what you and your parents have done for wildlife and comes back ten fold. I knew you would go back an treat his small wound. I wonder 🤔 how we as humans can hurt and kill animals. I am guilty of being a meat eater and often 😢 don't understand it , the older I get the more it hurts my soul. To survive , I understand the wild animals prey and predators but as I said the older I get, the angrier I am about poachers and disappointed I am in myself. Rhinos are incredible! A few years ago at the Lisbon Zoo I took a picture of myself caressing a rhino that put its head over a rock wall twice to be with me when I was there alone around closing time. I know I wasn’t supposed to do that, but I felt that the rhino was calm me and it stayed with me ever after I slowly started to step away
