Loved the video. One small thing is I think “crutch” is typically used to refer to what someone relies on, not their weak point. Like crutches help you walk when you have a broken leg, you are relying on them, they are not what’s making it hard to walk. Not trying to be semantic just letting you know that it may confuse people :)

I know a lot of people just hate Frank now, but tbh, i feel he deserved that rework so much, even fits thematically of how he's a chill big guy but that gets angry when people start pushing him around too much, like Mortis in the animations.

Frank is currently one of my favorite brawlers, I love his playstyle and the rework because sometimes you get really low but since your attack speed is super fast, you can use gadget and deal a ton of damage in 2 seconds

Ill be honest, Frank's ability to be kited so easily was definitely a way, WAY bigger problem than him feeding supers. I mean Draco feed a ton of supers too and he was op as hell because he wasnt so easily kited.

Tip: If you're playing Frank, stop being afraid to take dmg, just try not to feed a brawler with really strong super + You should generally attack last so you can hit faster and win the interaction.

The sad thing is, frank outclasses ash and draco now. Ash is probably the most unnecessary brawler in the game right now because of frank. Draco is also forgotten because of frank. But frank rework was needed tho

Sorry that this is a nitpick. A metaphorical crutch is something people rely on, not what hinders them. So franks attack delay isn’t his crutch. It’s more so why he needs a crutch to begin with. His crutch would be his high HP or even his quick super charge rate. Love the video, keep it up, hope your channel grows!

My personal opinion of frank is he's become a no skill now having one of the fastest unload speed fast moving speed godly amount of health. They shouldn't really overbuffed him like that atleast when they balanced him they nerfed the other parts that his unload speed used to cover like because of unload speed that he has so much health but now because of that buff the health that used to cover for his speed is now just an overbuffed he only really needs a health nerf to make him balanced not F tier or S tier but balanced

i have my account since like 2018 and have always looked at frank and said why is this bunching bag in the game?? but after trying before his rework i was like WOW he actually needs skill??? cuz you couldnt just rush the enemies you needed to think and trade your HP CAREFULY after the rework frank wasnt frank anymore.. he became less skillfull i would say.. he surely needed a buff but cmon dont lower his skill like that??? in the past if you saw a GOOD frank you would say oh yea THAT GUY REALLYY deserve the win and you mythcial what do you think? subed btw 😉

thanks for subbing! i dont think necessary getting more powerful has to mean getting less skilled. Sure, right after the rework, he was less skill and stupidly broken. But now, I think he's in a good place, and the trading HP that you mentioned is even more prevalent now, and it is actually possible to kill frank as well

brawl stars brawler design and balancing team is ass because so many of their characters are fundamentally flawed and they often try to fix it with meaningless stat buffs. that's why frank's stats got so inflated and why since the rework his stats have had to be lowered more and more. i'm glad they're doing these reworks to make the older characters actually work but i'm afraid the new brawlers coming in could have even worse design flaws and they'll be the ones getting slowly reworked years in the future. yes i am looking at kit but to be fair a lot of new brawlers look like great ideas but with artificially inflated stats and half-assed gadgets and star powers. i'm also scared of the future where every new brawler releases with a hypercharge, that will suck so much.

I kinda don't know how to feel about him... He was always cool conceptually. A walking powerhouse, held back by his prefered fighting style (big hammer). His gameplay was always fun imo (with the only frustrating factor being just the fact he was weak to crowd control) and crucial to his character design. Stripping that away from him would hurt his balance and character. I do feel like devs made a fair compromise. One of the comments here puts it well, Frank is a gentle giant but he's not a push over, especially now. For a character, he is a not so original, but a nice take on the Frankenstein monster. The fact he uses a tombstone looking hammer is the unique part. He's also a "gentle giant" with a passion for music. Sweet! I like the little things about Frank. How the hums from the gadget became part of his default pin, how satisfying his attacks are from the visuals to sound design. Admittedly, I like him way more than El Primo, who's big unchanging smile and lack of eye pupils makes him uncanny. This is without the mention all the fan content that ruined my perception of him... But now that Frank is an acctual powerhouse that contributed to the problem of power creep... This situation kinda sucks. He doesn't feel skillful anymore and he can't be killed (without you dying in the procrss) by brawler who's names aren't Clancy, or Shelly. I think they should've nerfed his dmg further cause I know well they're not gonna try and nerf the attack delay reduction. OR they should've nerfed his Power Grab star power, cause 50% dmg boost is a LOT.

Ironically enough, he is my highest trophy brawler. Look, I'm not the kinda guy to refuse free trophies :P especially on a brawler that's i genuinely thought was fun to play. ....cause clearly that's what Supercell intended lol.

BTW Frank hit box isn't gigantic. There are only 2 types of hitbox for brawlers actually. Small ones for small brawlers like bea shelly.. Pam.. 😒 and also Big ones for mostly tanks like bull, primo, frank, 8bit, sandy.. etc
