Heracross always puts in work. The lack of parity in power and accuracy of multi hit moves is insane though. They buffed bullet seed, the rest of them should all be 100% accurate, 25 power per hit so they make sense to use. That’s usually how move variations work in Pokémon anyway.

I'm gonna suggest this to the guy modding the Gen 3 ROM hack I'm playing. Unlikely to get implemented but if does I might do a run with a Heracross main.

The PP disparity is also a bit nuts. Now, them having different amounts of PP per type makes sense and it has consistency with physical Rock-type moves not having much PP and accuracy, but 10 PP and 90% accuracy when Bullet Seed and Icicle Spear have *30* is crazy. Only three Pokémon get Bone Rush and it's _still_ got the same numbers as Rock Blast, despite the only Ground-type that gets it being Marowak... who gets Bonemerang. The 60 separate Normal-type versions who all have less power and or accuracy still never reach 25 PP either, what the hell.

This thing is absolutely Psychotic in Hackmons using the Triage ability with stab Leech Life and Drain Punch then Bitter Blade for coverage with Sword Dance as icing on the cake for moves that'll out-priority Extreme Speed on top of healing. Almost the sole reason people have to run Queenly Majesty to counter it

Mega Cross always was more than a bit overshadowed by the bulky recovery oriented Mega Scizor or the Aerilate-boosted nukes and priority of Mega Pinsir, but he shined with a little love and some Sticky Webs support. Still alive and kicking over in Hackmons, at least. (Favorite weird tech set - 120~ Def EVs at most, Aerilate, Scarf, Double Edge. Oneshots Eviolite Impostor Chansey if it tries to come in. Can't say it's reliable, but when it works, it's always fun to wipe the smug smirk off that countersweeping bastard.)

Speaking of mega’s, I’m so torn between which Mega is my favourite: Aggron or Mawile Aggron is my #1 favourite Pokémon of all time, and his mega form just makes him even cooler. If you’ve seen that one video of the guy on showdown with Mega Aggron, with “The Wall” playing in the background, you know. Mawile though is so cool. It’s also really fucking good. I picked Mawile in a draft league once and it was able to get me some good wins so It’s grown on me ever since.

Gamefrealk seems to have this one guy who just goes "Hey guys, let's evolve this guy by making its forearms swollen guns!" Rhyperior, magmortar, mega heracross... I mean, its a clever design with Galarian Slowbro, but its so random on a construction-themed rhinocerous, a fire tengu and a pugilist hercules beetle. I honestly would have rather gotten a Pinsir evolution with Skill Link and a different Heracross mega, ngl. (the mega pinsir design could have easily been retooled) Mega Heracross's ability just doesn't do much for me thematically, even though the design is pretty cool actually.
