My opinion on this is that naturally overdoing anything and I mean anything is always a problem that carries risks and potential consequences both physical, spiritual and mental. I think definitely sleeping with someone's wife, forcing a lady/man or sleeping with an underage person are definitely extreme and a thing one should never do. ....don't fault your Dad. He made his mistake....work on not making yours. Whatever happens to anyone, you were destined to go through it (God designed refining process), think about other things you'd (known/unknown), but never caught up with you. Peace, STOP judging your parents or partners for their life experiences (called mistakes) for lack of exposure or over exposure. Work on yourself and faith...
