My dad used to work there and I remember when he took me with him and walked around all the rooms, seeing this brought back many memories of my childhood. La Fortaleza is a majestic place.

This is one of the best little-known tours one can do in Viejo San Juan! I’ve actually done it a few times throughout the years. One of the more recent First Ladies planted an organic vegetable garden in the backyard. There’s also a swimming pool back there that’s somewhat hidden from view. Even though the tour is primarily focused on the outside grounds, I thought it was something special to see. Thank you for your content. 🇵🇷

This is actually the first time I have seen part of the inside of the Governor's Masion. When you stated that they will not allow you to take pictures, I'm thinking, ARE YOU KIDDING ME. We can take pictures of the inside of the white house and capital building. I'm glad they called you back and have shown pictures of the inside. It's very much as I expected with lots of Spanish & France influence in it's architecture. Not to mention pictures of the "royal families" that have lived there. Many thanks.
