🎉 Congratulations! I'm sure I heard you say Taylor is expecting. Wyatt is growing up so cute. A group of us were in Old San Juan years ago, and it did not disappoint, although you covered a lot more territory than we did. Love seeing all of your travels.

I was born and raised in PR and I live here. I’m sorry for comments made both ways but some locals need to also realize that many of the millions of PRicans that left the island in the past started to have children in the USA and who knows .. you probably may have been rude to some young people that came here to learn about their roots because they speak english Peace ✌️✨🕊️

So, it's easy to see which partner skipped out on American History class to hang out at the WaWa! Columbus... sailed the ocean blue in 1982? or was it 1682? CARAMBA!! DIOS MIO!! 🤣 San Juan... looks like a combo St. Augustine, Florida (fort) and San Jose del Cabo (street shops)? 🤔 Good to see you getting the young one used to going down vertical inclines! 👍⛷ Humpback whales 🐳 are having time of their lives in Baja! Best ski season in many many years... extended cold temps... hugh crowds at all the Pocono resorts. Big Boulder was voted #2 overall ski resort in all of Vail Resort's North American properties (#1 in the east)! 🏆 Later... Lee

@AlanisOcasio1238 күн бұрын
Castillo San Felipe del Morro and colonial buildings were built prior to those two locations so St. Augustine would actually look like old San Juan 😉 Puerto Rico was discovered by Christopher Columbus, on November 19, 1493. I mean technically he didn’t discover it since people already inhabited the island 😅

GLAD you had a good experience!. Ok. So you understand. Bad Bunny 12 minutes video on KZbin encourages some anti tourist sentiments on 4% of the population. 96% of us welcomes everyone. Unfortunately, other parts of the world are watching the same video and it's insisting the same sentiment. It's the minority usually that gets together during festivals, holidays and when school is off June and July to ruin things for ALL of us.
@arnaldocerra72187 күн бұрын
That piña colada place (BARRACHINA) is actually one of the worst. They are a lying tourist trap claiming that they created the piña colada. They did not.
@alopez11967 күн бұрын
Lucky you didn't run into antiamerican proindependence people who would have made you feel unwelcome in a subtle way. Some work at restaurants in old San Juan. They are 4% of the population but can make the 96% proamericans look bad if you don't know what's happening. Weekdays and school season best time to visit. Many locals avoid festivals after 4 5 pm.

Thanks for the comment, but I disagree. Maybe for you it’s ruined, but not for us. Our goal for our channel is about making memories as a family and van life with a baby/toddler would not be fair to them. I’ll bet ya our channel does even better once we get a boat and start boat life.

Gringos remember this country is older than yours, it has culture and language. Which the USA has none. So respect and don’t expect to be catered to.

What a d*mb comment. By the way, PR is not a sovereign country, regardless of your political views or feelings. Please do yourself a favor and delete your comment.
@AngelFontanez-q9s5 күн бұрын
MelRicanDePonce that is a derogatory comment, each visitor has his opinion. And that they don't have culture is false, I lived in RI and they kept the indigenous culture and traditions alive. And other states do the same. Sigue pensando que Ponce es Ponce. Ask your Puerto Rican friends what they think of the US, surely some will tell you what they don't like.

Nope. We are here now and it’s a dump. At least the weather is cooler. I know it’s not me because I could see a lot of people getting back on the ship a hour after an hour or so after they were allowed to get off the ship. Very crowded streets with mainly locals and no one could or wanted to speak English. No public seating, no street signs, people carrying their own chairs, and lines around the block at all the pharmacies. It looked like a local festival for the locals starting but we didn’t feel welcome here. This is the last place I would ever go again except maybe Mexico.
@migdaliav65428 күн бұрын

USA is a dump. Local festival happening this weekend celebrating our culture. Don't like it, you're not needed.
@AlanisOcasio1238 күн бұрын
Really we were there last weekend and it was breathtaking as always, it was also packed with tourist, very clean and beautiful. I do know that the festival starts this weekend and it’s historical event ( probably can be compared to mardigrass) so probably not the ideal for tourist due to how incredibly crowded it gets but I fell in love with the island and have been many times in the last as well. People are incredibly kind and welcoming. Sad you had that experience. Farthest thing from a dump.

Nice informative video... Unfortunately, that weekend 15-20 January was SanSe festival which is a type of Mardi Gras with crowds
