what I love about this vlog more than anything is, its a reminder the 'old casey' still exists.. He never changed. I also love that while he stepped away from KZbin over the last 1-2 years and dramatically slowed his videos down to take time away, enjoy life and prevent [more] burnout, he can come back, put out daily vlogs around 5 minutes long just pointing out something specific in his day and everyone loves it. Just something so small that makes not only him feel good but also the viewers. It's not everyday that people can take breaks for years and come back to a loyal fanbase that is equally as happy as he is to be putting out videos. Hopefully he continues! Thanks Casey

This video is gem.I love you Casey. So casually you put forward your philosophical thought with unimportant stuffs. I know fixing something is really satisfying.
Did you see the new movie by Yes Theory? That was awesome.

Stalin was just as evil as Hitler was just people don’t study and learn as much about Russia as people learn about Germany because they where the focal point of WW2 but Russia’s history in my opinion is more fun to learn about it gets very interesting

American's schools focus more on Hitler and the Holocaust. We did learn a little bit about Stalin but wow i never knew 20 million people died. That's a first for me.

Stalin being "also kind of evil" is an understatement, the dude was more evil than Hitler.

People from central and eastern europe loosing their sh** when hearing that Stalin was "kinda evil" and "not like Hitler evil" starts 3...2...1... Seriously Casey. Stalin was a monster and he is the same league as Hitler without a doubt. Maybe even worse. But I understand that from the US perspective way more visible was what Hitler did.

I've been spending my time the same way. organizing my storage locker, building shelves, trying to find a solution to a soft bendy wood bed slats, trying to figure out how to repair a camera by myself without help... lots to distract from the horrible social media stuff. I feel you Casey.

The shower shelf was intentionally designed with a slight slope so the collecting water drains, but said slope causes soap to slip out and fall. My enginerding solution would be to screw down (plug and stainless screw and washer in grout between tiles) your wire mesh bracket so it stays put. Because the wire mesh tray will fall from time to time too! A tool or device that is used 365 days a year should go through a stringent design and customization process.

Fun fact: The Russian bayonet was designed in a hex shape to leave a wound that would be harder to manage in the field, and keep a soldier out of action longer.

It is probably because you hear about so many problems that you can’t fix in the news. These small tasks are satisfying because you can take action and immediately see the results. I chose to embrace them, and the satisfaction they bring. Have fun.
