Hello, friends!
I don't think there's such a thing as the perfect balance between work and life/relaxation. I think that most times, we're doing more of one than the other and the balance between the two is always shifting. My point in saying this is to make sure we don't guilt ourselves for not achieving an essentially impossible goal.
Some times, I'm able to have a great work/life balance and be productive while also practicing self-care and getting plenty of sleep all the while going to bed early and waking up early. Other times, I'm staying up WAY too late, am dizzyingly overwhelmed, or just find myself completely exhausted while doing nothing. I'm sure so so many of us can relate.
This week, even though I had some late nights, I feel like I balanced my time with both work and self-care really really well. From reading, to potting plants to eating well, I really enjoyed myself! I also checked most everything off my to-do list, which always feels great!
Anyways, we all just do the best we can, which looks different at different times but is always more than enough 💛
