I've finally done it!! I have officially read all of Jane Austen's works and "Mansfield Park" was quite the conclusion to this endeavor. Honestly, I was shocked by this novel in so many ways! I'm curious to know what you think about the novel if you've read it (particularly the ending).
Besides reading, I also venture to a bookstore, spend much time in the garden, and laugh with friends in this video-- I had a really wonderful time filming it all and just want to say thank you so very much for caring and watching 💛

MY FAVORITE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS VLOG: - you bracing your arms open and breathing in that beautiful sunrise - the blue dress made you look so much like Wendy! - "it's chapter 12.... and nothing has happened" I LAUGHED! IT WAS SO FRANK AND DISAPPOINTED - *twirls twice* jump cut to: *being reminded of my concussion* - Lilian's face reveal and the food reveal. sooooo so jealous of the food >:( - Landon's INSTANT regret "ohshitright" "are you-- serious." BWAHAHAHAHAHA SO CANDID - "I was NOT asleep!" was that a reference to Peter Pan hitting his head from the 2003 film cos that's certainly what I thought of - the comedic music at the very end for the inc*st reveal nOOOOOOO WHY ARE THEY FIRST COUSINS. Hi Morgan! This vlog was a wonderful domestic rollercoaster. Also seeing you out and about and talking with a friend was so nice to see. How it must be to finally bond with people outside computer screens :(

Mansfield Park was definitely not my favorite on my first read. However, after rereading it a couple years ago, I really like it. I think out of all of Jane Austen's books, this book is the least like a romance book and more so a societal commentary, especially because of the ending.

What a lovely video, your work never stops to amaze me and soothe my soul :D And today it is extra special because it’s about Jane Austen (who is my favourite classic writer) and it is my birthday !!! I am so happy to have this video on this day 😃🎉🎉 Regarding feeling bittersweet when finishing all of her novels, I super get what you mean, I feel the same way when I finish all the body of work of an artist I admire. So, for Jane, I don’t know if you know that already, but they published some of her letters to her sister and others in book formats so if you ever miss her words, the letters are there to be read too 😀😀😀 I know it’s not the same as diving into her characters and plots but I love reading them from time to time when I am missing her way of writing about things so I thought this could be nice for you too ☺️❤️❤️❤️ thanks again for the video, super relaxing and the dinner food loooked AMAZING 🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️

Congratulations! I am endeavouring to read all of Austen’s novels this year, I am currently reading Sense and Sensibility and have Mansfield Park and Pride and Prejudice (a reread) to go. I was very pleasantly surprised by Persuasion but I still feel Emma and Pride and Prejudice are my favourites too.

Even though I own all the Jane Austen books, I've only read Sanditon. I can't seem to find the time to spend getting familiar with the language so that I can get into them and finish them. But, my favorite book/movie about Austen's novels is 'The Jane Austen Book Club'. They have both helped me fall in love with books I've never read while never giving up hope that I will one day read through them all and truly fall in love with them. If you haven't read it/seen the movie you may want to try that. I'm going to watch it after I finish your video 🤗 😊

When you were talking about reading your last book of an author, it really struck me! That's why I have postponed reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, that's why haven't finished watching Friends, that's why I never check which Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes books I haven't read yet, because I am afraid of the day that ends it. The day I go to the library and there is no Hercule Poirot book I haven't read, the day there will be no new adventures in Hogwarts, the day there is no new episode of Rachel, Monica and the gang. I am really afraid of the day and the feelings it will give me, so I don't finish so I still have the illusion I can finish it another day.

What a stunning sunrise! I thorougly enjoyed your review of Mansfield Park. If you like film adaptations of Austen’s books I can recommend the 1999 version of Mansfield Park! I have never read the book but I loved that film! The 2007 one is not as good in my opinion. 😊
