You know… it’s weird. I’m not usually the type of person who believes in these readings (because I think people make their own destiny and it can change at anytime), but I never really had one (and I WANT these sorts of things to actually be real and working). Also, whenever I hear people talking about when they get one, it’s always accurate to them. I honestly want to get one now because the only times I hear that they don’t work are by people who haven’t really gotten one, but they have good reasoning behind why they don’t. I guess the only way I’d know if they work or not is by getting one.🤷‍♂️

I got a reading at a county fair once. The psychic had her own private business outside of the fair, but she'd set up a tent to rake in some business. She spent most of the time trying to stereotype me into a career. It wasn't even stuff I was interested in. I gave her two shots at it and then left when she started trying to extrapolate things from what little information I'd give her that didn't connect whatsoever to what she'd said prior despite her trying to force it. Typical cold reading stuff. I wont say they're all frauds who are actively conning people,because I have nothing to go on but my own experience, but it'd take one hell of an ice breaking line to make me sit down and put cold hard cash down for a reading again.

These types of things are what you call "cold readings". Essentially you have some preset readings, and each reading has stuff that applies to everyone. And you have the "medium" who reads the subject and biases the readings to what the subject wants/fears etc. They tailor the experience. It's like telling stories around a campfire.
