I like when the suspect says “You lied to me!” - but he lied to the police... first. I love how the criminal mind works. Their behavior has no bounds - yet they hold other people to a higher standard, and have a certain expectation of other people’s behavior. And are surprised or angry when other people don’t meet that expectation..

Guys I just watched the whole episode SPOILER ALERT!!!! Basically he could tell everything that happened but wouldn’t say who was kissing her as she tried to get away in the alley and this same person grabbed a metal bar and killed Rachel, he talked about everything like he was really watching it. Since it was so accurate and his shoe print was at the crime scene, obviously they thought it was him, anyone would. He even confessed when one of the guys in court kinda made him say he did it but then they discovered something else: the message, in the answering machine, from Rachel’s friend Leanne wasn’t true, Leanne never left with any mark, she had never even brought a date home, her doorman had worked at the building for years on end and knew this. When they talked to Leanne and found out all of this she said she lied to Rachel just like guys lie about their conquests all the time, which was kinda odd to say the least, that this specific night she had to say she was w someone (Mark, who in fact doesn’t exist, nor he ever did). So, in the end they were talking to the psychiatrist that evaluated him and he said people who claim to have visions may talk about repressed memories but say these are their visions. After all, this was a repressed memory. We witnessed it, he was there, it was traumatic, he felt guilty for not doing anything to save her, so his brain repressed it. He was a witness and who actually killed Rachel (and attempted an assault before wards) was Leanne, and she was arrested obviously and charged with Rachel’s murder

I was right, lol!! My brain's knowledge for storing useless pop culture trivia has come through, yet again! The 'creepy' actress is Robin Weigert and she plays the criminal in this episode, and a criminal in sn 20, episode "The Taxman Cometh". She is married to Clea Duvall's (her name was on the tip of my tongue) character, as they duke it out for money and a baby. allthingslawandorder.blogspot.com/2010/05/law-order-taxman-cometh-recap-review.html?m=1 (I love this blog, and although I knew the meme, I didn't know the plot of "Chinatown" until recently, so this was especially smile-inducing.) Have a good one!🎋✌
