@C H A T H U no it isn't, info sec has nothing whatsoever to do with information security and or privacy

There's a good blog here on how NIST defines the two: securityscorecard.com/blog/information-security-versus-cybersecurity. There's quite a bit of overlap. There's also information assurance, but may companies (like some folks at CompTIA recently told us) have moved away a bit from that term as they feel it's a bit outdated.
