Bless him❤. I lost my Dutch Shepard just before the new year. My Pug missed his big brother , even though im home 24 hours a day. So we found him a little brother who's completely blind. You wouldn't think a blind pug would be capable of causing havoc but he does😂

Hachi's reaction was typical I guess. Didn't like it at first. But did get used to the fact that owners were gone but would likely return later. I don't know if this was one of his first instances of being left alone or if he always does this. I have a Pug. No separation issues. I'd tell him I'm going out and would be back later. He'd stay on the sofa or wherever he was. Would never run after me as I prepared to leave. And I'd never him behind the door after I locked up. Nor hear him complaining when i returned. He understood. Never through a tantrum (damaging anything). Never made any mistakes. When I put my key in the door returning I could her him once or twice running towards the door. Only thing my Pug doesn't like is being confined to a space. Like a bathroom. Even as a 7 pound puppy he managed to find the weakness in the baby gate I used and pushed it open enough to escape. :) Gate was still in the door frame. So I never had to buy a crate or cage. He always had freedom to roam.

You have to train a dog to not be distressed when you leave. Separation anxiety is not cute and their are things you can do to help it.

My pug is in an only dog house. He gets left on his own a few hours each day and he just sleeps 🤷🏻‍♀️ he does get a lot of exercise each day though and a big garden to explore too but those hours he's alone he seems pretty happy

You literaly stres him alot and its not good!separation anxiety is a big deal and it hurts me to watch it.My pug and me are one heart and two boody but I speak to her that mommy needs to go and be back so she watches tv and plays or sleeps till I come home I never crate trained her and she is so perfectly behaved and raised

What a miserable life! you cannot go out and have a private moment.. dog barks and disturbs neighbors, its crying only because it know it cannot survive on its own, it needs someone to put food in its stinky mouth. Dogs loyalty stays only till you feed them, the moment feeder changes (rescue dogs), dogs loyalty changes.
