My relative lives on Bere Island, use to be the school bus driver for all the children. Donal Harrington anyone know him?? I was there in 04' and it was beautiful

YES it IS his house. He's my mothers cousin too and my sister just saw him a few years ago on Bere Island. It's definitely John O'Sullivan himself standing beside his house in this clip! He's the churchkeeper on the island too for St. Michael's where my grandmother went as a child...So Phelan177 we must be related somehow, wouldn't you say! John's mother & my grandmother were sisters...

This is actually pretty nuts lol I can't be certain at all as I'm only 26 and never visited but my Great-great grandfather was born on Bere Island and I literally just got off the phone with my grandmother, who is his grand daughter who has visited and she just told me that O'Sullivans now live in the house my family used to live in.. and it was an elderly gentleman living alone as his wife unfortunately died.. and I think this was about 20 or so years ago, maybe 15. My family were the Greene's, and I was also told that we were previously O'sullivans that married a Greene and that's how we become Greene's. The house looks unmistakably like the one my grandmother described. The sign Ardagh tells me it's got to be the house.
