I just found that the code to draw the tick marks and the degrees is no longer working as before. The code is only drawing half of the compass. Did the esp32 3.0 update break something?

Could be wrong, but I think a compass is a compass, will tell you results of strongest magnet, so a small magnet close up should give you results

thank you for sharing your experience, but following your video i had to go ahead install the adafruit library, it was not compatible with the module of course, in the meantime i spent some time debugging why Wire does not work with the adafruit library, i solved that, only to know i have to delete the library! not the best of experience for me following your video sir.

Might be nice. It might also be possible to communicate a typo like a grown-up too.
