You will need in order from the water side of the tank, sanitary Tees, a pumping vault with pump, distribution box, 4” schedule 40 SDR pipe to the leach field and a diverter valve if you lay multiple leach lines. Do not let a poly tank sit empty while buried. They have a tendency to either crush or pop out of the ground. I can’t remember what the fall on the black side is but if it’s too great the liquid will out pace the solids and you’ll get clogs. Leach field fall needs to be precise as well so you don’t saturate the end of the field. Maybe some one can chime in with the percentage. It’s been over a decade since I’ve done septic. Good luck!

Uh... Are you saying you might be able to help? I have the arc 36 chambers and septic tank that's about it. I do have permit pulled and plans drawn up for this. Perc testing has already been complete and locations have been picked out. I just need someone to hold my hand through the last parts. My sight engineer is going to help me get the pump vault, pump, and tubing. But I have no ideas really how to connect everything

Those rock walls look awesome! Time to think about using it for the back of berms. We do that at my trail crew (although with posts and boards) since we don’t have rocks. We have found you can make a comparable size berm with about 1/2-1/3 of the dirt. It holds up better long term too since the back erodes less.

Definitely live building stuff with rocks. Only problem is many spots don't have rock or we got to dig them out of the ground. Some places it will definitely happen though.

I live in Cambria and our trails are in the pine forest. A backpack leaf blower works great for the pine cones and needles , it is much faster and more efficient than a rake. I recommend a 350 husqvarna. Keep up the good work!

Nice! Seriously nice! What a great dream - coming together! I'm no Rocket surgeon: But why is the tank so far from the leech field? I have strong doubts --- pumping poo is far harder than pumping water. Nasty and takes more energy. You don't have to explain about fall, and fall lines, I get it, but heck ... since your leech field isnt in yet, I'd reconsider it in its entirety. It looks like youre planning on going under the road as well.
@mtbingadventures15512 жыл бұрын
It only needs to pump the liquids. The solids stay in the large septic tank. We could've put the Septic closer to the leech field but that would've made things way more difficult to plumb all the toilets over in that area.
@captnhuffy2 жыл бұрын
@@mtbingadventures1551 Got it. And impossible to pump the tank out when it needs it. Right right.
@mtbingadventures15512 жыл бұрын
@@captnhuffy correct, we just have a company come pump out main septic tank. The leech field had to be located far away because it can't be near any annual creek beds. Our property has those all over so we were kinda screwed
@trailjockeytj61602 жыл бұрын
You need to do the Pump Track on a hard tail, your full suspension bike is sucking a lot of energy that would be given back on a smaller dirt jump type bike. Although any Hardtail will be better than something with a rear suspension.
@mtbingadventures15512 жыл бұрын
Very true but I want to make doable for full suspension as well. Most of our guests will not be bring hardtails to ride this area. But I would absolutely love to have one to play around from time to time
@trailjockeytj61602 жыл бұрын
N+1 my friend! They are only three to $500 used and even cheaper if you can find a deal. Although my main ride is a Hardtail, I love my full suspension but it removes so much, and the Hardtail is so responsive, that once I bought and built my chromag , I’ve only ridden my RIP 9 like three times in the last two years.

@timm68762 жыл бұрын
@@mtbingadventures1551 FWIW, would never put anywhere above the level your well is on. It appears the soil is very porous, and the waste will travel very quickly and unexpectedly far especially on a slope. Also the fact the water flows without pumping means something is forcing it to the surface, likely imperious rock. You of course are free as you see fit. Just trying to make sure you understand the potential. Cheers.
@mtbingadventures15512 жыл бұрын
@@timm6876 I totally understand and appreciate your concern. The Grumper isn't used very much and in on a ridge that is not really above the well. It looks like it's really close but it's not. Our well is over 140 deep and over a hundred feet away. It's not going to be an issue. We will be testing the well from time to time to be on the safe side.
