Sadly dont have any fatty stuff yet, is frostfang barioth gauntlets a good replacement for dragon claws b+? Also should i get alatreon gs or is frostcraft doable with lightbreak blade?

In case you are still pondering about which to which,for alatreon either use ice or fire weapon depending on the first element of the hunt. If its fire then ice if its ice then fire so u can topple it before it can judgement to top it off more topples= more dmg reduction for judgement

I have the exact same greatsword with attack 7, agitator, frost craft, and crit boosts/affinity and my hits are about 60% of your damage. Even double fortify. Help😂

Yeah the damage he is doing is insane. My highest hit was 1800 with TCS and he is over here hitting 2k+ easily with almost 3k hits sometimes.

Everyone online hits for inconceivable amounts of damage. I killed this schmuck for the first time and I only had 35 seconds to spare. I do like 40% of the damage these you tubers do even when my decos/armour are damn near identical to theirs. What the hell am I doing wrong here. I just saw a guy play sns and do 400dmg per hit for a 5 hit combo, on sns. What magic dps steroid are they using?!?!?

Nice tips, but in almost all examples, Fatalis would be punishing you pretty hard right after YOUR punish. An audacious gameplay, I'd say, but luckily, you didn't die because of the power of editing (or perhaps Divine Blessing, with some luck).

Too true, I'm so glad someone finally said it. I've been waiting in here for a full year refreshing every few minutes to wait for someone to finally call out this fraud for his risky and ill conceived play. It was all worth it for this moment. This dude only knows how to play one weapon against one monster and even then he just scrapes by on luck

Sometimes on the triple fireball punish i get hit with the third fireball even if im behind fattys head. Ive it seen it happene to others and and on speedruns and im not really sure what causes it. (Maybe its hitting a pillar nearby causing me to get caught in the splash)

Same here. I think it's because the fireball exploded on the ground right in front of its mouth, you know, because you're too close when it's taking aim.

Why does it look like u take no dmg but there is no divine blessing in ur build, and low fire res. Like at 2:13 for example. I run maxed gear and divine blessing with 15 fire res base and a fire proof mantle and i take pretty much the same….

his position is not always the exact same so you have to do slight adjustments -> standing at the bottom left of the square thingy that's on the ground might be more consistent than what I said in the video

We have no idea how you're getting all the extra damage, and is frostcraft really worth it when MANY attacks one shot us but seemingly not you, what's dps if you cannot survive. Skill issue I am aware yes.

Bro i was looking for a guide cus how tf do u dodge some of his attacks when the gs is so slow, and not what attacks to punish and how, for example the attack in 0:23 would 100% fkn cart me bc u look stuck in a tcs (as one often is playing the gs) which is my main way carting in the fatty hunt (i mean that exact same attack or the downward flamethrower) especially using velk armor which is soo weak to fire.. TLDR; would love to see if u carted in 0:23 or how you would deal with it other than know when he will do it before he does it

Hate fatalis. Not only did he take the place of a fully grown xeno because fanboys complained, but his hitboxes are abysmal trash all the way around. Pretty much every attack is scuffed. Like there was 0 playtesting whatsoever, honestly wouldn't surprise me. Top it off his armor isn't even good, everytime you look up a max damage build how often is it using fatalis gear? Its good for defense builds but thats bout it. Hell even then safi stuff is a better defense build since you can mix skills, fatty is trash. And I've beaten the guy, I still hate em.

@@WhenDevilsDuel hang on, i think you missed the point of using 4-pc fatalis armor; you use it for the deco slots along with the inheritence, which is best for min-maxing damage in raw builds, which is valid for almost all weapons. Fatalis hitboxes were worse at release, while there are still bad hitbox zones, its not enough to complain that much about it unless you're just really bad at aiming your hits. It's also the last update monster, what do you expect? they release a sub-par monster/gear where no one would even bother fighting the thing? Lastly, "How often you see team dark side using fatalis gear?" Aren't majority of their post-fatalis content for MHW:I fatalis sets? unless it's arena/old videos, pretty sure 4-pc fatty is meta for a reason.

I understand the point of it's gear plenty, I just don't think it's worth it for what it offers. A jack of all trades is useless in a game like this. But hey man, if you have the 500 hours to grind for gems so you can make your shitty armor useful, more power to you. You misunderstand which hitbox. His hitboxes are fine unless you're elemental or ranged. His attacks are scuffed AF and there's really no denying it. There's countless videos about it. It's a problem all across world with monsters that use attacks like his but amplified by the fact that even with a "defensive" build he can 2 shot you. And nothing will change how salty I am that we missed out on papi safi because the monster hunter equivalent to gen wunners harassed the devs to add him
