@@junction-27koicarp22 think I put them outside too early but had no choice because the tank was leaking I did everything right I got the temperature down to what the water was outside

@@suffolkkoi they don't like the cold if they under 3 inch I don't let anyone put them out till march once they get to 4 inch they normally can stand the cold if cooled down over 24 hours

We had loads of fry last year but we didn’t move them out of the big pond as we weren’t sure how and I’m not the best with fish and my husband was so busy plus we don’t have another tank or pond filtered - anyhow we have about 10 now 1yr olds but most are fully black is this possible as I’ve never seen a fully black one - we have 2 silver and black and then seem tiny compared to the black ones - now there is a white old gold fish in the pond - they aren’t gold fish are they 🙈

Best way to check if they are carp is carp have barbles on there lips gold fish don't have them
