I just purchased mine. I found it on sale for 31% off the original price and waiting for it to come in. I’m so excited and can’t wait to be sitting around a warm fire. Great video guys !!!

That's awesome! I'm stoked for you and wish I were sitting 'round a warm fire myself! Thank you and Enjoy ✌️

Yes I too was annoyed that the grill didn’t quite fit right. Plus mine had big patches of imperfect paint inside. But it works!

Good video review. Nice Gadget, I had mine for 3 years before control board failure, no huge fires. I'll buy another unit as the price continues to go down.

It made me happy to see you properly split wood by batoning it. I would hate to see someone chop a finger off!

Yeah, and especially for kindling!

Pretty cool. But I’m still all about stacking pallets, dumping gas on it and let it blaze. But this thing is easier to transport.

Pallet fires are fun, but they can leave an awful mess and fill campsites with nails. Im not a fan of them on public lands; and especially in drought stricken lands with risk of forest fires.

A very handy review. Thanks! You mentioned that this would suit small intimate backyard gatherings. Do you think it would be suitable for that purpose but in colder temperatures or is it too small to generate enough heat? Just wondering about its suitability for Canadian winters.

It's still fire so I would think so? But I've no experience with Canadian winters!

@@RyanKodakBrown Thanks! When I say "Canadian winters," I guess I basically mean winters that are cold enough for snow to stay on the ground.

I was wondering the same thing about winters in Alaska which, I guess, is kinda similar to Canadian winters. But I guess I will find out soon enough because I ordered one.

@@shannoninalaska I would love to hear how you go with using it in the winter. Care to reply here at some later stage with news of whether it suffices for you during the winter?

@@tomoffinland74 I plan to fire it up during Halloween 🎃 on the driveway. It just started snowing here yesterday where I live so it won't be that cold here. I will try it out maybe sometime during the mid winter months too and hopefully remember to come back and update on this channel.

Live mine, also the Campstove 👍

Nice! The campstoves are really fun. Traveled with a guy bike touring who had one. Even just to use a mini, traveling, fire pit was awesome.

Comparable to the Solo Stove?
@RyanKodakBrown2 жыл бұрын
Similar but slightly different. BioLite uses a battery to make it smokeless, it has a grill-top, really nice to look at with the mesh, a little more portable... Don't have much experience with the Solo Stove.

Is battery/fan piece waterproof?
@RyanKodakBrownАй бұрын
I don't think fully but I'd check with BioLite website to make sure.
