Glad you got something out. When one of you guys takes too long, I honestly start to worry something has happened. Mental health, stress, etc can all take it's toll and although seeing frequent videos just makes me want to find boring stuff to automate, I love seeing what you HA guys do. (Looking at you other YT guys I subscribe to.)

Nice update, thanks Jeff. I hope you're able to unwind and relax over the holidays. I have automated so much of the boring stuff that I'm actually starting to have time to do other stuff 👍. Sponsorships have ruined KZbin. Look back at your channel and see what made it great then. I must say that I have to sift through videos now to find unsponsored ones. Are you doing this for the money or to have fun. I hope things get back on track again.

First, are you seriously saying you are not willing to pay for something you get value from? I would love to know your reasoning why you think content creators should bear the cost of creating content for you and companies should host that content for you completely free. Because that perspective baffles me and I would love to understand it better as a content creator trying to figure out how to offset the cost of producing this content without asking viewers to pay up front. Second, This is actually something that I have been thinking about a lot lately. Because I am not doing this to make money. I'm doing this to share what I know, and I would love to keep doing this. I never expected or planned for this channel to make money. My hope was viewers would enjoy it enough to support it by watching the ads, or buying the occasional t-shirt, or using the affiliate links from the occasional sponsor to buy products they find useful that it would offset the cost to create the content. But we are at the stage in this game where I have to decide how much of my time I am willing to donate for free to this channel each week so you don't have to watch ads or sponsored videos, or I need to fire up Patreon so that I can make more content specifically for the people that find it valuable. Because my belief has always been: the people that truly find the content valuable will pay for it in any way they can so it keeps getting made. And those that don't find it valuable will complain because watching an ad cost them more than they got in return.
