Along the way we stop at a yardsale for some vintage toys and Polish glass!
Then on to the auction house were the plan was just to pick up our winnings, BUT, surprise, an auction was taking place!
We take you through all the vintage & antique home decor and share the auction with you!

Some say the Lincoln Rocker was used in his law office (that design) but others say it was the chair he was shot in but I tend to think it was the type in his law office.

Had me drooling 🤤over some of that Auction House's backrooms. Over the years I've collected so many items (spent a fortune). but I know when I'm gone my Ignorant family will most likely yard sell everything for a nickel on the dollar {sigh}... Wish you two made road trips to buy collections (like Antique Archeology) the tv series.

Hey guys! Yall got some great things today. Michael I especially love your tiny doll furniture. It's stunning!! I have collected miniatures for 60 years and have soooo many cool things. My problem with rugs is I need to tie it in with what furnishings I have going on at the time. Trust me, you don’t want to go down any of those rabbit holes! So I look away when I see rugs!

I believe the "Teddy" bear began with a political cartoon based on a Roosevelt's refusal to personally shoot a bear that had been clubbed and tied during a hunting outing he was attending. Morris Michton, a candy shop owner in Brooklyn and his wife, saw the cartoon and it inspired them to make a stuffed bear dedicated to Roosevelt...it was originally "Teddy's Bear".
