He sang Tamil songs, not Kerala song , Kerala Malayalam language. He is a Tamilan belongs to Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the programme was held in Kulalambur, Malaysia where more Tamil people are living. Tamil language is one of the official/national language in Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka , Marutius and India. Main southern Indian languages are Tamil, Telugu, Kanada and Malayalam.

None of the original singers will sing the song on stage.... You WILL NOT Seeon stage performance of Sujatha,..S.Janaki, Srinivas,.Shreya Ghoshal, Sadhana Sargam,.Udit Narayan,...etc.etc all well known singers singing on stage..but all second rung singers (along wil 3-4 well known Singers) in his troupe singing the Original songs... 90% of hia songs cannot be played live on stage due to some complex software and highly technical sounds he uses in his recorded songs, which can NEVER EVER be recreated, atleast NOT on a live on stage performance... So,..90% songs which you witness as LIVE ON STAGE PERFORMANCE (so called.) will be from Audio Juke Box while instrument players on stage will pretend playing while singers will do LIPSYNC...

@@indradevabhakt6244 remember the famous concert when the IR flautist Napoleon played the Ilaiya Nila bgm in the wrong pitched flute? And after that he played just the bgm again in correct pitched flute upon request by SPB. That is how real IR concerts are. All live n real time..

@@musiclove4887 : True..for Illaiyaraja live in concert programme,..it seems prior to the concert, there would be umteen rehearsals,..with proper music notes infront of all music instrument players. For ARR's no such headache, juke box music and ear buds with lipsync acting will nearly complete the show..😁
