As I mentioned he is ahead of his time with his unique style of blending western with Indian classicals and reaching nook of Indian villages is not easy to do.. but Rahman made it possible.. that way I admire him..!! IN MY OPINION Ilayaraja sir tune & feel Might work for Indian audience but I doubt with Western audience... If it works I am more than happy than anyone else 👍🏼 peace

She started her music journey at a very young age with A.R.Rahman and has played with legends like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jordan Rudess (Keyboardist of Dream Theater), the amazing drummer Marco Minneman and so on. She is by far one of the best bassists the world has ever produced till now. And I am not at all exaggerating when I am saying this. What amazed me is the diversity of talented musicians from different parts of the world playing music for ARR's songs. The night was epic at Symphony hall where the audience were from all over the world! That is the reach of ARR's music!!!

Mohini dey is already a legend, She became bassist of AR Rahman's band in like 16 or 17 years of age and have already collaborated with many legend musicians around the world and also endorses Mark bass amp, and her bass guitar brand which i forgot the name and other brands as well.. Her father is also a very known bassist.. Her younger sister Esani Dey is an incredible Guitarist as well.. A super talented family I must say and that guitarist who played is Prasanna.. He's just another legend.. like incredibly amazing, He mostly plays classical songs and arrangements on electric guitar and most of the time it's tuned as EBEBEB to imitate Indian classical tuning on Indian instruments like on veena using root and fifth swaras Sa(E) and Pa(B) . Just go through their music and you wouldn't feel the day goes by :)
