I love the “corrupted” version of the love theme. It does the same thing of repeating the first half twice, but instead in the song it just repeats itself, and the only real resolution is from the chords. Then the whole second part of the love theme, which always feels like a build-up to something bigger, isn’t present here, replaced completely. It kind of gives the impression, to me, of having moved on, or at least feeling like you’ve moved on from a death, and then everything around you just reminds you over and over about it. But at the same the memory is obstructed by the passage of time and changes in your life

Everyone says how dreadful this song feels and how helpless it is, but i dont think so I think it perfectly incapsulates how the change in tazmilly IS making everyone happier, and everything is looking better for them But little do they know what the pigmasks have in plan for them

This is genuinely one of the most dreadful songs in Mother 3. It appears such a happy, prosperous, and fulfilling time for the villagers. But we know what's really happening. Change is happening, and there is nothing we can do about it. It's a modern, "industrialized" version of Mom's Hometown. It feels disingenuous as well, further playing into our knowledge the change that is occurring is not a good change.

Heck yeah!! Fun fact, this specific version of the conga drums I'm using includes extra velocity samples so I was able to get some more character outta em' in certain areas (like the fill before the loop)
