when I use a pipe that takes a filter I used cedar splints that you get for lighting cigars( the thin stuff that comes in cigar boxes) snap them to size and stack them they work quite well John

I have a few very nice lighters at home, but when I’m away from home I use a clipper. I recently got a 12 pack for $12 at Amazon! They are refillable, so should last me a long time! Always nice to see you, even if it’s a rerun :)

I had a similar problem with gas refill lighters what worked for me was turning the upside down as if you are going to fill them and gently push down on the little stem with a ballpoint pen and bleeding out all the air. They work like champs again. Just a suggestion. Cheers.

Yeah, over here we have bic lighters and they are tremendously reliable! 😊😊😊

I agree about corncob pipes, they're light, ergonomic and affordable. Also, and this may sound weird, but for some reason i feel less conspicuous smoking them in public. I have no idea why.

@@_leyrd_. Where I live the sight of a pipe is so infrequent I do get lots of looks. For some reason the briar is noticeable but when it's the cob it seems to draw more attention. One person even said, "that looks like an expensive pipe" 😊 I do believe I'm going full on cob; which will be a future video

Im about done with gas lighters they dont seem to last anymore, I might go back to the petrol lighters.

@@scott3991 the inexpensive one I use has lasted a year so for £1 I'm happy. I did love my Zippo pipe lighter but I became sensitive to the fuel taste.
