Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 2:13:59 : The duration of Mirror Image is only a minute, so unless Rat’s performance was interrupted extremely early, it likely would’ve ended by now. 2:19:14 : This ruling is in direct conflict with Monty’s earlier ruling on episode 167 where she states that being able to cast a spell without an action is unique to Task’s aspect and would still take an action for Greckles to cast fly. 2:24:42 : Task makes a single attack roll for both targets despite Volley explicitly stating that “you make a separate attack roll for each target.” And he hits each target more than once, going against what I believe was intended for Multiattack to do, being a way to attack a large number of creatures only once each. It’s not often when I agree with people when they say that 5e has confusing wording, but the Hunter’s Multiattack is one of the few exceptions. 2:25:17 : You can only deal Colossus Slayer damage once per turn. 2:37:53 : When in a contest that ties, The Unexpectables use the rule of thumb “aggressor wins” to resolve them while RAW states that “If [a] contest results in a tie, the situation remains the same as it was before the contest.” This rule would benefit a non-aggressor more so than an aggressor. 2:40:57 : Dad wouldn’t have disadvantage because Slow grants a -2 to Dexterity saving throws, not disadvantage.
