Tbh, I think the German WWII tank barriers looked pretty similar (Russians probably copied it 😉) and I think they were not further reinforced. The German colleague above confirmed my suspicion. I think dragons teeth were only used along the Siegfried Line, which was supposed the last line of defense.

Also 30 Panzer, Artillerie Vorbereitung mit 152mm Artillerie, Angriff mit Jagbomber gleichzeitig, dann Angriff der Panzer und der BMP die ebenfalls die feindlichen Panzer mit Lenkraketen angriffen, dazu Infanterie die mit RPG und Kornet die Panzer bekämpfen. Die NATO kämpft nicht anders. Die Russen machen folgendes zur Zeit. Aus einer massiven Verteidigung heraus den Gegner angreifen, langsam aber stetig, Meter für Meter, Stunde um Stunde. Da reicht manchmal ein Panzer, ein Schützenwagen, um 100 Meter zu gewinnen. Und das nächsten Tag wieder und immer so weiter.

If ATGM or RPG with cumulative warhead hits a tank - with open hatches there is a bigger chance to survive. Closed hatches mean overpressure inside the tank and the whole crew could turn into "minced meat" so to speak.

For all the Kremlin fan-boys comments about "Ooh, the Leopard2/Strv122 is not undestructible", of course not, but seeing what they accomplish before destruction by an overwhelming enemy, and the amount of hits it can take and the crew still walks away with no or minor injuries, it shows what its about. Had Ukraine gotten 500-1000 Leo2's, or better yet, Strv122 (with increased mine and top-protection), the map would have looked a bit different. But the crews seem to mostly live to fight another day, when the russians are flame-broiled at the first drone hit, or a hit from a Leo2.
