I have always wanted to be a pediatric nurse and you just helped me realize I can be one as long as I put myself to work
@haileytasker8899 Жыл бұрын
I can say as a nurse who graduated in 2018, I still do the same thing and feel a lil anxious before day shifts. Regularly get 4.5hrs of sleep and then bam off for a busy, rewarding, always interesting 12hr day 🤗😋💗 I know a few other nurses who are like this too, others do get into a routine of going to bed early, so hopefully maybe one day lol ❤😋🤗 I sleep in before my night shifts, but can’t nap through the day, helps me to sleep at least 4hrs after my night though so that is helpful for recovery 🤗💗

5-5:30 am days are common for me, as my current job is at a lumber yard that typically operates 11 hours a day (not there that long each day but most days are like that).

Yeah same. I have clinicals starting mid October and I'm TERRIFIED. and it's like even if you try to have a good sleep schedule and go to bed early, you lay there for hours awake because you're scared/nervous
@420Romantic Жыл бұрын
@@itscarolinedammit754 I have horrible sleep issues myself.. the doctors think it might be sleep apnea which could be bothering my grand mal seizures... anyway I've found a few cool things online to try and help such as red light! It helps me fall asleep a little faster along with music or relaxing sounds of your choice! I use chill relaxing music that I know won't wake me up nothin that gets too loud! Sometimes I use candles like lavender but there's lots of other scents also! Just make sure to put it out before you pass out! lol good luck to you both! :)

I’m 1.5 months out from graduation. Almost every clinical was like that.. 3-4 hours of sleep.. But you’ll make it! Keep it up!

And when u do an afternoon nap, you cant sleep early at night. You will have the same problem in the morning. I can relate. I always keep in the same cyclus. Bad sleep, early out bed, to tired, taking an afternoonnap, problem sleeping in at night.

@d3ndr0ph1l3 Жыл бұрын
In the first second of the video she turned the light on. She kinda has to get up first to record her getting up but doesn’t mean she didn’t set up her phone the lay there for a few minutes if not potentially fell back to sleep for a few.
