@@talandmads I think the thing that is at the top of my list of things that happen unfavorable by being a recluse for four years / but nearly there 13 years ago after my third trauma… It's that perspective shift we get from engagement with others that are close to us in our lives that 'I don't' get anymore. And then of course I don't create content that makes people feel good because… That's not what I'm about, so I don't get people to talk to me like they talk to most KZbinrs either. Just saying, moments given are in fact -- precious.

Hi guys, we love watching your videos and the beautiful places you go. We in Australia tow a caravan and when ever we travel on alot of dirt roads, we let our tyres down to 25 psi that way you will get a smoother ride and when in soft sand you tyres flatten out giving you more grip and less spinning in the sand. You will have to buy yourself a 12 volt compressor to pump up your tyres again before driving on the tar roads again. Please try it, I'm sure you will find it helpful. Air those rear tires down to 20-22 Lbs and 16lbs in front you could drive that rig though 2 feet of sand. Hard tires "push' sand, soft tires roll on top of it. Been running 2 wheel drive motor homes on Cape Cod beaches for years without getting stuck and thats driving 6 miles of beach each way.

My wife and I back when we were young were camping in a chassis mount camper her father had built. We were on a lake near Mt. Rainier. When the sun went down we had to stay put in the camper, as the mosquitoes were so thick they were hitting the outside of the camper so hard it sounded like hail.

It's fun to see you in my city and try to recognize the different places. pity i didn't get to see you but hey, maybe some other day ;-) My wife was watching with me and started scolding you for eating the gauva (in Spanish 'guayaba') with a spoon. She says you eat it just as-is, skin and all and the outer part is actually the best. And i'm no fish connaisseur, but if I'm not mistaken Mahi mahi is a type of tuna. Red snapper is called a güachinango or pargo in (mexican) spanish according to my friend Google. And if you get stuck, try to air down your tires. That will give you a wider surface on the sand. You can get small battery powered compressors to air them back up

Hey Tal, when you are driving on sand, spinning your tires will get you stuck every time. Everything under the tires is loose, so when you spin the tire, everything underneath comes out. Driving on marbles may be a good comparison. Ideally,you want to move slowly and allow the sand to compact under the tires, making a more rigid footing. If you get into a situation where the tires just want to spin, using your brake at the same time as the fuel robs some of the horsepower amusing the wheel to spin. Just remember light of the fuel. Not that expect you to remember all that 😊 Glad y’all are havin fun. The fish/rice dish looked awesome. Stay out of trouble. See ya next week

If you are stuck in the sand you can also put down some water, and it helps the sand clump together. This was a great video, your editing is the best it has ever been.

What fun! Yes, indeed, you made me smile! 😁 Years ago, before either of you were born, I accompanied several friends to Baja, all of us in three Land Rovers of the era. I didn't know it before we left, but some of the most fun the owners of the Land Rovers had was to get stuck in the sand and try to figure out how to get out. I learned many things that week, and one thing was to avoid getting stuck in the sand below the high tide line while the tide is coming in. That truck made it out, but not before some water sloshed inside. 🙂 Paws up, Bowie, you lucky dog! 🐾

Ok. Girls I don’t know if you like bleach. But, I’m a Brazilian and everytime we have bug infestations like this, I have a little bottle of Vinager, bleach, detergent and water! Crazy insane how it works. It’s a “push push “ kind. So when I see the bugs, I spray them. Works like magic 😉
