Found y'all through a Kara & Nate episode with Eamon, Bec & Lee. Y'all led me to Tyler & Todd and of course Max & Occy followed by Ride and Seek and now Tal & Mads. I love how all of y'all lift each other up and support each other. In any other field there's so much competition but KZbin is very unique in where creators hype other creators and collab together to help each other be successful. I'm all about that positive energy! 🫶

Before the spread of Railroad there was no need for a standardized time. When trains started rumbling down tracks it became obvious to develop a universal regional time. This is what lead to Time Zones based on Greenwich Mean Time. The spread of the Telegraph assisted in this process.

As for virtual reality devices. Back in the 1990’s, I went to a symposium/talk by Dr Timothy Leary (yes, that Timothy Leary, before he died) on the future of communication. He was working with the engineers developing and designing the beginnings of virtual headsets, tactile gloves, and suits, all of which we now have. It was very cool, as he brought with him some patented prototypes for demonstration. And here we are now reaping the benefits of futurists, like Dr. Tim’s ideas. Oh and Jaz, as a native New Yorker here’s the stats on Times Square: The triangularly-shaped 44th Street to 45 Street Broadway plaza is 173 feet in length and stretches as wide as 27 feet.

I think he was talking about time zones. People used to figure it was noon was when the sun was highest, so a few miles away someone would have a different noon than you. The railroads needed everyone to agree to a standard time so that across a big area they'd all have the same noon and it would simplify scheduling. When you got farther away, into the next timezone, the time would just an hour, so that depending on the direction you were going, noon for you would jump to 11:00 or 1:00. So they invented standard time zones.

We have bears in Colorado Springs, CO which has just under 500,000 people. It’s crazy to see them there. I had two mama bears with their cubs, one set was the cubs from the last year and then a mama with new cubs. You just have to bring bear spray and bear bells so that they can hear you coming. We are taught to stand still, don’t look them in the eye. If they start to go toward you you make yourself bigger and noisy. That and a lot of praying will help!

I wish so badly we could post photos in the comments: I have a picture of me whispering to my friend in one of the corners of grand central 😂 It’s the way the ceiling is arched: if you face one corner and speak at a low voice, someone standing in the opposite corner can hear you no problem: no matter how many people are talking loudly between you. ♥️

Popping your knuckles or your joints are your back is not bad for you that is a mess and the sound of the crack is actually air pressure, releasing between the joints to help your joints realign. My uncle is one of the top 10 naturopathic physicians in the United States and has taught around the world. If not for chiropractic care after two car accidents within six months, neither of which were my fault I don’t know where I would be it took years, but I am back to being mostly pain-free, and able to walk.

"The repetitive motion of cracking your knuckles wears down the joints and their protective cushioning. This means individuals who currently have osteoarthritis, caused by the breakdown of cartilage in the joints, could worsen their symptoms by cracking their knuckles repeatedly. However, cracking your knuckles plays no role in rheumatoid arthritis, which is caused when a person’s own immune system attacks their joints." Try taking hyaluronic acid supplements to lubricate your joints. It works! I had an injury to my shoulder that would cause it to creak when I would raise my arm a certain height. It stopped once I started taking H.A.

i have a condition that makes it so if you were to try and pop my toes or pull on them at all they would come right out of the socket. if i wear the wrong shoes they twist around like the girls head in the exorcist! The idea of someone messing with my toes freaks me out lol. Also I agree please dont pop the hip out if you can help it, popping it out is very different than just cracking air bubbles in the joints! dont want those hips wearing out before their time! I learned about my condition at 17 and wish i had known earlier so i wouldve stopped the ballet and bendy party tricks cause im paying for them now! And even if you dont have my condition, if your joint can move beyond a normal range, be careful with it cause it can wear it out a bit faster that you might like if you do it too much - and keep the muscles around that joint nice and strong!

Most of the mid century early century Dome train stations have that you go to one side I go to the other side and you can hear each other because your voice trails up over the dome above the din. And you are correct kind of when it comes to the time clock situation. Time wasn’t invented, but it was organized by the train companies. At that point, the train companies were traveling from New York to Chicago from Chicago to Denver, etc. and so in order for the trains to run on time and for you to understand that you were to be at a train station at a certain time or the 24 hour clock was invented by the train companies. Up until that point the time on the clock for two different cities maybe two different times because each city or region determine their own time at that point, but once the train companies came in and said now you got to be here at 6 o’clock in order to catch this train but it’s 6 o’clock on our Clock that sort of changed everything. This is also what led to time zones for the exact same reason because they found at 8 o’clock in the morning in New York City is actually earlier than 8 o’clock in the morning in Chicago from a sun in the sky standpoint so in order to try to give continuity to each of the towns so that your 12 noon looks like my 12 noon that’s why time zones were invented and that is a direct descendent. Avoid Jasmine was talking about in that organized time structure was actually invented by the train corporations.

First off, love you ladies. And like Chrystals mom, I prefer to WATCH your podcast. Listening to you too is interesting enough, but it's so much fun watching the interaction. Besides I have to watch it since you don't give Bella or Izzay the chance to speak, geeeze. And today is the first day of summer - do not - do not talk about winter. Even though it's a million degrees out there, do not. If I want to get into snow right now, I'll continuing watching Tal & Mads Alaska adventure; so beautiful. Btw, I love Chrystal, the burger queen !!! 🍔 And regarding your merch, I hope you make some polo shirts as I don't care for regular T shirts. So many requests, so little time. Can't wait to see some bears sunning themselves on your deck. One time only please. I've seen you two flying down the trails - HOLY CRAP. And I bet Jazmyns mom thinks the same, but with all those miles, and miles of nowhere and it's so easy to get lost, what the hell would you two do if one of you got hurt in an accident. Sigh, my "dad" rears it''s caring head again. I can't wait to see your "secret video"; nice tease ladies. And finally, if you're getting countertops....let the pros install them, there's a lot to it. No shame on your part for doing that. Just think, when they're in, you get to wash them....yaaaaa. Sigh, this is no one line comment, so I'm going to shut up and let all you get on with you life. So, take care, sending love..... Bernie ❤

😂 that was... intense. I am curious to see the Merch. I think the company wants to install the counter tops and window sills themselves due to warranty regulations. Wildlife: do you have trail cameras set up on your property? This would be so interesting to see which animals are around on your property. I hung one up as a unknown guest is plundering the squirrel feeder and it is definetely not a squirrel. I got interesting pictures of wind swiching branches and twigs so far 😂. I also found out recently that here, where I live there are 1 confirmed pack of wolves and close by another pack which they are not sure if they are really local or moving on. I never was able to hear them by now. 🤷🏼‍♀️
