A Really Wet on Wet Sky

Here I look at another wet on wet sky. This time in cadmium yellow mixed in to an orange and with a purple based on cobalt blue.purple. I don't complete the painting it's just the sky. The more you see this being done the more it will make sense when you try and paint it in watercolour yourself.

Great colors and movement of the paint. Very difficult for me. Already on 5th trial. Worked out yellow and red. Starting to get the idea. However, purple is not working for me yet:-). BTW, I am enjoying your tutorials and learning a lot. Love your paintings, color schemes and style.

It's a synthetic brush, Pro Arte, prolene. black with a gold tip. I have used them for years, they really are fabulous, they hold and release the paint well, have a great flexibility and can take the abuse I give them. Also not to bad price wise.
