I really agree with your take on how important is for elide to not have magic in this world over OP characters. It shows a different side and levity of all of it BUT there were many times where I was SCREAMING at my book to let this girl burst w raw magic everywhere! I’m sick of people using her life as a bargaining chip to hurt others. Let her start slicing up people!!
