ELIIIIIIIIDDE!!!! ugh, she is such a badass B!! and I love Lorcan so much. Their relationship is my favorite in this series, and everything I want in a romance. I immediately looked up fan fiction (I don't read fan fiction) after finishing this series because I wanted MORE. I will forever be looking for a romance with the same dynamic as Elide + Lorcan. Also, it's heavily implied that Lorcan was abused and neglected as a child (as a "discarded bastard on the back streets of Doranelle"), so he's very used to being ignored and hated, which makes the whole dam scene all that much more poignant.

I don't think anyone has ever really cared about what happened to Lorcan before Elide. It's one of the reasons he was so moved by her offer of a home back in EOS 😭 They are so good together! I love it so much!!!!
