For this series I’ll be taking you with me through New York & New Jersey to various Music Stores & Record Shows. Sifting through CD’s, vinyl, and whatever else the stores have to offer. Then at the end I’ll un-bag the loot and discuss why I chose the ones I did. Come on…let’s go to the record store!

Wow! I could spend hours in there. Vinyl is crazy right now. We used to have an awesome used CD store. Even that's gone. Going to the music store at the mall was so much fun as a kid. Waxie Maxie's, Tower Records, The Record Exchange... Greatly missed.

Another great video! Btw...Killer is a Belgian heavy metal band founded in 1980! If you want to buy something from them,there last album you can get as a 2cd...you get the new cd "Hellfire" and as a bonus you get "The best of Killer 1980-2023". 🤘

Great video! Really like the captions, quick relatable and interesting words about most each one. That Autograph record is a solid start the weekend go-to when it's time to turn up the radio! Speaking of high prices, I was really interested in the Abraxas Poole CD that you mentioned yesterday, but I can’t find it anywhere for a decent price.

Exactly! That’s why at $3.99 I was ecstatic!! I’ve never seen it in the wild and I’ve never seen if for less than $40 or $50. But there are some $30 prices on eBay right now in various conditions. If I knew the album was as good as it is I’d have spent $30 years ago. But I had no idea.

Hey, Brendon very nice video. Culprit only released one studio album, and you have the same one that you showed in the store, but with a slightly different cover artwork. Exciter was and always will be a speed metal band in my book, saw them live in 87 when they were on top of their game. Cheers!

Bullet is a great one! Have never heard Killer, but thought I'd give them a try. Just a couple of days ago I ordered their two box sets directly from Cherry Red Records, so am expecting them soon. Kind of expensive, so I hope they are worth it.

Rock Candy Records has never released them. They’re currently only available from Japan as SHM CDs so they’re pricy. Years ago Spitfire Records released them and you should be able to find used copies pretty easy. I see them pretty regularly.

When I am at a store like that, I can never remember if I have a particular copy on cd or vinyl. Do you use discogs or some other database of your collection that you can access when you are at the store? Thanks

it’s funny…i don’t even know how you play a record 😂 also, it’s a catch 22…do i buy a record & then my first record player or vice versa?

You either have to buy them both on the same day or have the record in advance because you’re going to want to use the record player right away. I’ve always had records in my collection, but as soon as I get a new player I always want to use it right away.

You have two boxset with Killer then you have al the albums
