Beautiful house but I think the best thing this architect has done was to compliment the art deco house rather than going on an ego battle with it and trying to design something that tried to out do the art deco house. Smart move as I think the art deco house is a master piece.

Great piece! I really like how they blended the shapes and forms to the iconic Art Deco house next door! It's sophisticated with lots of glamour but little glitz - good taste. For my taste (which is obviously not what the owners wanted), I would've preferred a slightly more open spaces without them feel grandiose (like SAOTA for example). It's a bit too compartmentalized, at least for me... yet the house is HUGE...

poorly designed and definitely does not come together seamlessly as stated. It just looks and feels like it was done by too many cooks in the kitchen so to speak. Good design is function disguised as art.
