Hey Sarah, without even a single bit of exaggeration, the video was mind blowing... Never saw a running video as good as this. The sounds of the rivulets and the footsteps on the pebbles coupled with the music was so so soothing. You have done a magnificent job in letting me experience the serenity of the place; I am sure that is what you have felt as well.... Congrats and thank you for such a lovely video....

Love it up there - I’m lucky enough to call this my backyard and have done a similar route recently. Recommend going Malham -> Janet’s Foss -> scramble up Gordale Scar (and it is a scramble; head for heights needed) -> Around Malham Tarn (anti-clockwise) -> down Pennine Way to top of the cove -> down Malham Cove path & back to Malham, finishing off with a dip of your feet in the lovely cool stream through the village. Fab route well worth trying 😍.

Very beautiful landscapes, enjoyed discovering this area through your eyes, nicely escapist after we just got re-confined to our North American city and soothingly meditative after a day working from home (except for a short lunch-time jog with my daughter) watching pouring rains at 15C outside (it stopped shortly during lunch). If you chose to make more videos like that, I will be looking forward to enjoying them.

Loved the video. 👍 Went there (walking not running) last year. Was pretty cold and the pavement was so slippery! OS maps showed a footpath all the way through Gorsdale Scar but we soon backtracked when we saw there wasn't a safe way up! My avatar is actually of Malham Tarn that day. 💙

Great video, nice to see one where the running and the natural beauty speak for themselves. I know the route well, being lucky enough to live reasonably local. If you do it again, carefully climb up Gordale Scar, to get a great route direct to Malham Tarn. It is short, but a bit of a scramble, and should only be attempted by confident, able people.
@SarahPlace4 жыл бұрын
yeah would have loved to go a bit further into gordale scar but it was fairly busy so didn't stay long! next time though!

Recently discovered your channel and really enjoyed this video. For me it very much captured the joy and freedom of off-road and trail running - a major part of my life for many years. Unfortunately for the past few years, due to ailment, injury and age my running has been much diminished. This video and others you've created have really made me want to try and get back out there. Many thanks for your efforts. Hope you've recovered from the Arc. I live in Cornwall so am very familiar with the terrain you encountered. But would never have entertained running 100 miles of it in one go.
