you should cut the rice cake into rectangular slices and then pan fry them so they're slightly crunchy on the outside and soft an chewy on the inside. That is how my mom always served it. I find them better when they're warm so it's less gummy.

I was thinking Marie was a July-baby because she's such a homebody and loves to cook and care for people. What a fun Birthdy party for Marie~ She started out really feeling down and forgotten, or maybe feeling of not wanted around and she needed to be there working, as she knew how much everyone has depended on her now. She is really doing great with being a wonerful Chef, and also with flower decorating and knowing the names and about them so very well, and just so much, more . She has so much talent! In the end, she loved every minute of the chewy cake, and the other Analise made. Both cakes were good am sure, just in their own ways! ( The little ones are so sweet and behave so nicely) Loved the country shopping at the village ( similar to where I live, as it is a country area and small towns) but this was such a fun place and enjoyed it so much, had to call my husband to watch! The ride behind the tractor and the firends who joined you ( Loved their style, it was really quite fancy, and it would be a fun fashion to see more people wearing, Hope they are able to visit quite often! The young man helping with books is staying for awhile and wondered if he is h friend marie was talking about that she had made as of late? Maybe everyone is getting to know him more and he them as well? Not sure , just guessing, He seems like a very nice person, blends in well too! Lancelot sure had a grand time as well! He wondered what would happen next. LOL He was glad to be on his dad's lap and being held, during the tractor ride especially! It truly was such a wonderful vlog! Thank You!

Happy Birthday Maire!!🥳🎉 Oh my goodness, the village by Lalande is like a step back in time. It reminds me so much of the rural agricultural area I grew up in here in the Southern U.S. Except we didn't have a cute little village, lol! All we had was an intersection with two country stores. And those vintage tractors were amazing, those two little ones were adorable, especially the pink one! It was so sweet of Analise to back that pretty birthday cake for Marie. Analise is so beautiful, inside and out. And I was drooling over some of those amazing items in the Brocante, especially the Baccarat chrysanthemum crystal set. My husband works at an Antique and Estate sale Auction company. They just had a huge vintage and antique car auction this weekend. He has been in the Antique auction business for many years. Both my husband and I have been collectors and lovers of antiques and vintage items for over 25 years. We used to own an antique business, but I retired early to raise our three children. Now I just want to raise organic heirloom vegetables and heritage breed farm animals.
