A REMINDER of the Good OLD DAYS at Crewe! LOCO CHANGE with Class 86's Top & Tail..!

This brings back a few memories! See Class 86's approaching Crewe from the North and South within 10 mins of each other!
Watch the loco change as 57010 heads a rake of blue Mk2's into Crewe from Burton Wetmore.. The Bodysnatcher then exits the stage and hands over to 86259/86401 to join the coaching stock in Top & Tail formation!
This consist will be working a Footex special on Sunday to transport the Merseyside reds to Wembley for the Carabao Cup Final versus Chelsea.

2x 86s in one day! I saw the 86 cab when I visited Crewe Heritage Centre & 86101 at Crewe on the way home from the Battle of Nantwich last month. LNWR Crewe - Tamworth & XC to Derby due to EMR cancellation on 'Knotty'... Got 50% compensation.

nice bit of sparky roarer action a double headed pair of 86s a very rare sighting as the class 86s are powerful beasts i love the sound of then closing down the fans & traction motors they roared i miss those sounds at Manchester piccadilly in the 1980s/90s to early 2005 era they dominated the lines back then on the Euston runs good video.

That seems to be a Varamis Rail unit, they have converted the interiors for parcels service
