What a beautiful home belonging to a beautiful lady. But off grid isn't that suppose to be living in the element without relying on money.

Patrick’s building will have no consents etc and it’s total proof of how one can actually live quite happily and safely without in put from councils who just want to use the consent process to screw people over .

this reminds me of the movie “the beach”. and just like the beach did to thailand with excess tourism ruining the natural resources, this will happen here too i also love when city slickers are so impressed by routine things like a generator and batteries 😂 “omg they power this place using a generator” yea no kidding, so does anyone camping at a state park with a camper 😂

"Carbon Neutral footprint of Humanity" -only when "going back to the land", means going back to the pre-industrial revolution conditions. Oil and plastic cans, are not bio-degradable.

Climate change? No, look at all the people coming there and continually diverting more water. Climate ebbs and flows...WE are NOT responsible for climate change, things are cyclical. WE are responsible for pollution...I love the recycle shop! We have them here!

'sustainable' 'Eco' buildings.. Like nuclear waste, very clean to run and operate, you just need 100k years to offset the environmental degradation caused building them lol

Off grid sounds good but not realistic or sustainable in a modern world. This is more of minimalist or secluded living which is good sometimes for rejuvenation.

Millions of people worldwide who live a modern off grid life would disagree with your ignorance.

@@RedPillDiaries Real ignorance is using used manufactured goods, generating plastic wastes from them while trying to delude others in trading junks all in the name of "off grid" living.

@@gbouhi OK, thanks for clarifying, you are right. Its a big difference between these and true off-grid folk living in the middle of nowhere with no tech at all. I guess the definitions need clarified (oh ho, new labels, lol)

One million? They call that expensive? (I’m not saying I could afford that but you have to get materials in, modern renewable gear isn’t usually cheap and they said she spared no expense)

OMG - most of people who are not really believing ..use this expression non stop , while - it would be better to consider..and , probably , to choose some other expression. As this one expression shows their .. Well I'd better do not express the exact expression , that would sound ..not very pleasant/ nice for them.
