Captain Matt! It's David who asked you about the K2's during your FB Live. Thanks so much for the review, you're highly regarded in my book for credibility and education/knowledge. You going out of your way to invest your time and make a video on this topic says a lot and thank you again. I'm at the final stages of the buying process and liking what I'm seeing. It's good to hear that there's nothing that jumps out at you where they may have cut corners. I lived in Dothan for a couple of years before landing in Pensacola, so I do have a bit of bias and would love to keep a memory of Dothan in the form of a new boat lol.

I got a Stott Craft but this was my other choice for the price. It came with a 115 Yamaha and the Stott came with a 150 Suzuki. I bought the Stott Craft because it had a self bailing haul and finished cockpit. The reason I didn’t go for the K2 was the unfinished hull. Both the 18 and 22 had the splatter with a matte white and it looked like it was a pain to clean. Also I want a fan of the shallow transom. The bow was nice but in real life it has a downward angle like a bow rider. The console was really large and the front seat opens up like a car hood. It didn’t come with a raw water wash down. It was a couple thousand more than the Stott Craft. The K2 did sell when I went to pick up mine. It has a large capacity (people/weight). Another thing I didn’t care for was the gunwales were angled outward which might be scary if you hook into a large fish and you try to lean your leg against the sides. Hope this helps with anyone interested in this boat. The boat was a great buy if you didn’t want to break the bank, but the Stott Craft was a much better value in my opinion.

Looked at these boats at the boat show this week end. Very nice, from what I learned they are a dad daughter duo, daughter was formerly married and produced glassstream boats, divorced and now working with dad on this new line. Probably why the favor glassstream design.

Unfortunately I own a 22 crs we have had absolutely nothing but issues with it snd the dealer hasn’t been any help at all for the price of this boat it’s absolutely not worth it completly due to its build quality which is second to none
