Once again I thank you for all of the work that you do for us. I remember when you first informed us about his channel and I subscribed right away. His streams were often very early in the morning but I’d wake up at 5 am and if I saw that he was streaming, I’d play it and even if I was too tired to watch it, I’d still have it playing in the back until I eventually got out of bed because I wanted Jin Kobayashi to know that we were supporting him. Another thing that made my day yesterday was listening to an English cover of the school rumble ED 1 and in the comments I saw someone that posted the same day. It reaffirmed to me that there are still many out there like us who are still being influenced by his works and are willing to wait patiently in hopes that one day we will get the closure.

Hope everything is well. I've had some dreams where I wished School Rumble was still continuing, or like some new short stories were we get more closure or stuff we can enjoy. I dreamed of the times where everyone was still happy in school and being together even beyond graduation. A sequel story or story about their kids would help give that closure and continuation to fans. Sorry for the random rumble. We all appreciate your efforts in helping and keeping us updated on any hopes of a continuation.

At this point I don't think Kobayashi wants to continue with the manga, maybe he just prefers for the fans to imagine their own ending for Harima. If he does continue one day I'll just see it as a nice surprise.

I just finished School Rumble manga today and i felt like it's lackluster and deserve a proper ending or closure. School Rumble was my childhood, i used to read it on shonen magazine but i never finished it because my sister only bought like 5 book but School Rumble was my favourite series in there and i did watch the anime to finish. At that time i don't have a will to try to read the manga on the internet due to the Anime ending being.... horrible IMO. Week ago i was bored and remembered about this series, i decided to read it again but this time i intend to finish it. it's as great as i remember it that is until the end, it is not properly finished. The last chapter feels unnecessary to me and i think it's just a fanservice. That aside i wish the Author dig this series from the grave and continue it, i truly love this series. Harima deserves a justice and so is other characters mainly Eri and Yakumo. Tenma and Karasuma ending was pretty awful to read, not in a bad way but it breaks my heart reading it and yet it's a proper ending unlike other characters.

Hey, very recent subscriber here! I just re-watched School Rumble for about the 3rd or 4th time now (including the OVAs and that "Third Semester") and I am finally working to read the manga fully as well (I read the very end of School Rumble Z just to get some closure for the series a few months back). I just wanted to say I fully support what you are doing here! School Rumble was one of my very first anime series that I watched as a teenager in high school just as I started to fully understand what anime truly was and how to watch it consistently instead of just catching it on toonami whenever I could. This series is probably a huge reason why I got into anime in the first place and was not only comedy gold but really spoke to me at a time where my only relationships were either not going anywhere or falling apart (wish I could say that has changed for the better in 13 years). It is such an important part of my life even now and I seriously hope that Mr. Kobayashi gives us a true Season 3 at some point in the future! Please do not give up and keep on trying! In the meantime I will get back to the manga and catch up on all the plot points alluded to in the opening credits of the Third Semester. Bring it back! School Rumble Forever!

I just found your youtuber channel after all these years of thinking I was alone in wanting School Rumble to continue, and how Harima never got any justice. Anyway, I feel like School Rumble is based off of Jin K's life. I am pretty sure the reason he doesn't want to give School Rumble an ending, is because in real life he himself doesn't have a good ending yet in his own life, meaning his "Tenma" isn't with him. The girl he wants to be with isn't with him. His situation of "would love to finish school rumble, but..." sounds like he is waiting on someone still, and if he ever marries this person and etc, he would have material, excitement, and marriage experience to write about it in school rumble. If he is waiting on someone, his Tenma, I feel very bad for him but also happy for him in how amazingly loyal he is. Reaching him for an ending could be, reaching for him to make the depressing chapter of him not getting with his Tenma in real life. This is just my thoughts and opinion. Him not ending school rumble I am pretty sure is a personal reason. He could easily end it if he wanted to, but he chooses not for a reason and won't tell anyone. lol. Obviously.. personal reasons, which is completely understandable. Harima and Jin K both look like each other, and they both draw manga, and I am sure much more in common..

Thank you for commenting I'm glad you found the channel. Harima being based on Mr Kobayashi has been something that has been speculated on for many years now. It makes sense. But each time hes asked about it he says Harima was not based on him at all. There has also been a persistent rumor for years that Kobayashi is married. I can't say with any degree of certainty that it's true or false. The man is incomparably private so not much is known about him. He disappeared from Twitter and KZbin over a year ago after never having any form of internet presence at all for years. I hope he will complete SR in a good and satisfying way. But at this point we just have to wait yet again to see what he decides to do I guess.
