Gil Schafer He's a great architect. Just how Schafer places the buildings in the landscape and shapes it around them is very beautiful. His eye for detail makes these traditional buildings very authentic.

I watched this although I already own this book. It is at the top of my list for books I look at again and again. Gil's own home is the epitome of coziness, charm and beauty. It reminds me of my favorite houses from Traditional Home magazine in the 90's. I wish I had those issues back!

Really enjoyed this video! Again---you have showcased a designer I was not familiar with. And I agree: in creating spaces to be lived in, the architecture, interior design, as well as the landscaping---function as a whole!
