Great video, great way to travel in Southern California is on the Pacific Surfliner from San Diego to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo & all other stops served by the Pacific Surfliner. I ride on it between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard when I’m home in the San Diego area alternating my visits between Los Angeles & Oxnard. It beats driving on the I-5/U.S.101 parking lots and also beats the I-405 parking lot.

Boarding and detraining on single level trains require more time on low platforms which adds to the schedule of the trip. LA Union Station should have at least one high level platform and should restore rusted run-down train sheds.

UP Guy 3014 I was at union station 3 days before he was and I saw that surfliner train there when I was on the platform waiting for the southwest chief
