2501 Collins was abandoned several years before the house across from it. They should give you the screen door there. 😢

In the "glory days", McKeesport was #3 in the state of Pennsylvania for commerce and wealth generated. Philly, Pittsburgh, McKeesport....

Thanks Walter, sad to see the warm old houses going down. My grandfather built our house at 3612 Woodland ave, was kinda old when we lived there. House next to it is gone and i see some are not in good shape.Sad!

We had a duplex on Lamont St. on the Versailles Ave bridge end. It was good as a landlord in the 80's and 90's, but it got bad with the old generation passing away and empty houses were fesspools of crime and drug use. I put up with it until someone set my duplex ablaze.

Ashame what the town of McKeesport Pennsylvania has become Evans Ave is one of the more popular streets throughout the town when thinking of McKeesport can't forget about the POS guy that was for the high school that befriended the young girl and kept her hostage in his house and sexually assaulted her on a daily basis until she finally got away and he got arrested and did jail time.
