Insta is so much better than GoPro. Nothing is perfect but I’ve never had an Insta simply shut off because it feels like it. The average lifespan in the US is 77 years. That would mean 10 more years for me. Why does the town of Old Fort have a giant butt plug as you enter the town? Catchphrase?😆 Tally who? Tally no.
@SomeGuyRides
@SomeGuyRides Жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm not sure why I remained brand loyal to GoPro on the 360. Probably not a great decision. You can do a shitload in 10 years! The internet says that the Old Fort Butt Plug represents a stop on the Appalachian Indian Trail and commemorates the peace between the Catawba and Cherokee tribes. Not sure a butt plug was the best choice, but hey - who am I to judge?!

Like the 360 view, would be cool for when you say "look at that view", you could pan around and show it better. Freaky how that thing works. 7 years?...c'mon man, might be good to live like that but lets hope for more.

I have a v85tt and really like it. I have have not done any off road only mild gravel and hard pack dirt roads and it does very well. Im not ready for anything tougher yet, it is a little on the heavy side. Maybe as i get more experience on it i will try, but its a great comfortable bike.

Wow, could share multiple thoughts here.. Many years after a shoulder injury in Army jump school, I finally went to a sports medicine orthopedic Dr. . Previous doctors all called it wrong.. I went from the steroid shots, to its in my head to I have a misrouted tendon.. Simple x ray showed I had a calcified bone like a sharks tooth stabbing into the joint.. Surgery removed about 1/2” of my collar bone and problem solved.., If you do have a surgery I would suggest a sports medicine Dr.. Now Moto Guzzi… I have a 1986 Daytona Lemans 1000 that I absolutely love.. Lots of power and was first bike with ABS.. I love the looks of their V twin but that makes it a bit quirky. On hard acceleration you will feel the bike torquing clockwise.. It is unique.. The engine longevity is amazing with a record of about 300,000 miles on one.. I would love to have the bike you are dreaming about as I am captivated by its design. But, I am 74 now and going the other direction in thinking about buying a Honda ADV 150..

Hey Angelo, the 360 View Camera adds some depth, I'd keep using it. Dude, Tally Ho from anyone else would be so obnoxious. I doubt you'll keep using it, but I swear it got funnier each time you did it. As usual, loved your philosophy, I only hope you have more than 7 years left! You've got me listening to Treadmill Trackstar, thank you for the collection. Richard

Thanks! Yeah - Tally Ho is so dumb that it just might stick. I feel like I might have put something out into the universe with this seven year thing - I'll have to do some sort of vodoo to take it back. Or - I don't know. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for checking out the band! If you get super bored - search Spotify for Angelo Gianni too. That's my solo stuff - I played every instrument on those two EPs. Thanks for the kind words!

Hey some guy,,,tally hoooo is a big NO! You've got better. Do your homework on the v85tt. I was also in love until I started finding evidence that Moto Guzzi factory is really messed up and dealers won't tell dirty secrets! Have enjoyed your humor and honest rambling...never sure if you're crazy or really having a good time. Cool stuff regardless.

Tally yes. Weed out the weak ones. Had a millitary friend I was in with had the same humor that you do. He ended up being the best friend I’ve ever had. He’s gone now. Not a battle thing but after he got out. Small part of why I watch your videos. Very small part but makes me laugh the way you see things. Tally ho will weed out the haters. I don’t care for it and that’s why you should keep it up? Idk. Either way let er eat. My himi got a new fuel pump early on and that’s it. Runs great. Starts in cold weather and idles. Maybe they just need a break in period. I’ve got over 2g on mine. Changed the back tire to a Dunlap trailmax mission. I like it so far.
@SomeGuyRides

You're logic on Tally Ho is impeccable. I do kind of love the haters because they can be pretty funny - but weeding out a few of them might not be bad. And I'm happy to stand in as a conduit of your friend. Why didn't RE just put a recall out on the fuel pump like they should have? I hear there's a brake recall coming too... But yup - mines running like a champ now...

"Surgery" makes me think of the fourth Star Trek Movie...the crew goes back in time to 1984 where a crewmember gets hit by a car and taken to the hospital. Dr. Bones becomes hysterical and says to Captain Kirk, "Twentieth Century butchers!! Do you know what they'll do to him?? We've got to get him out of there!!"

LEEROY JENKINS!!! nah, it gets old in a hurry. 360 would be cool on the trail. Different camera angles keeps the entire yt vid interesting to me. I don't think you will find a perfect motorcycle. That is why we all own more than we should. I would just hate to wrestle with that much weight on trails and small roads. I had a HD that weighed in around 600 lbs. and it even got old just on street driving - trying to hold the thing up at stops, etc...just too much weight to wrestle and it will drain your energy. I would gladly give up some top end speed for something lighter and easier to muscle around when needed.

I like the 360 stuff, in moderation, and like you said, it can be overdone. Catching a subject, and following it, like a roadside attraction as you ride by, looks very cool on video. I don’t think I’ll get one, I hear about the added editing, not sure I’m up for that on a cheap computer.

Lol. Loved your reasoning on death being how the shoulder problem will go away. About the moto Guzzi... for big decisions I now ask myself: will I regret doing / not doing XYZ when I am very old, one day? That usually settles the score.

360 is a yes, limited careful use, such as you have done in this video. It does add, when used judicially. Also, as a Raleigh resident, I am very jealous of the scenery so easily available in a quick ride.I rode yesterday and while enjoyable, not nearly as nice as western NC. You definitely can take a bigger bike on those routes. Just a different balance style. Can't wait to see the 5 day adventure for the test ride!

@@SomeGuyRides Uwharrie is indeed the best place for people living in the Triangle to go practice offroad, as it's only an hour and a half away. That being said, the OHV trails are best suited for that, and they don't open until April. There's free and paid camping, though, so it is a nice overnight outing but can easily be done in a day. Asheville is definitely in reach too, can be turned into a fun weekend from there.
