A ride with my bike around Kalkara and all the way to the Three cities Malta:)

This is quite a surprise seeing where I live now and where my father's ancestors lived since 1709 when they first came to Malta from France I believe. Following this video I was rather emotional as even my home is shown clearly. It reminded me of my youth playing amongst the bastions and the fields watching all sort of actions, from sailing , motoring, swimming and seeing farm animals giving birth. The war had it toll on the buildings we saw in the video but as time went on it was rebuilt in as we see it now. Kalkara is a wonderful place , but it was much better 60 years ago when the traffic was lighter even non existence in some places. The residential areas were destroyed by too much traffic and the bad planners do not seem to consider the residents but only the fast traffic flow. They could do much better if they tried to use their brains. Slowing traffic in residential narrow roads is the easiest issue on earth. However, though the title indicates "a ride with my bike" I would say that it was a motorcycle and not a bike as the manner in which a truck was overtaken up the hill from Bormla, well it was rather dangerous to do it with a bicycle. Congratulations on the video and the route selected. You can call at my home for a coffee anytime. Well done.
